  2. This is the WINK history file (WINK.HIS) and it contains a log of
  3. releases and instructions for performing a quick upgrade from the
  4. previous version.

  10. This is the initial release and the following instructions are a copy
  11. of those found in the QUICK START section of WINK.DOC.
  12.  
  13. - copy all files to your Opus directory
  14. - rename the appropriate EXE version to WINK.EXE
  15. - edit WINK.CFG and follow directions listed there
  16. - add an Opus menu option, for example:
  17.   _OUTSIDE  Normal  "WINK" = DOS c:\opus\wink.exe
  18. - time to rock-n-roll (Rush preferred)

  20. NOTE:  The quick start CFG file requires that PKZIP,
  21.        PKUNZIP, and DSZ be located in your PATH.

  25. CKIT is a C language library for writing BBS doors.  WINK uses CKIT.
  26. I have sent in my registration for CKIT.  When I receive the
  27. registered libraries, I will link them into WINK and issue a bugfix
  28. release.  This will eliminate the "UNREGISTERED" message that is
  29. displayed when you leave WINK.
